Humanitarian Cause for a Family in Need

Dear friends,

We rarely ask for help, but this time we must. We’re raising funds for a Palestinian family in Qarayot whose father, Muhammad Muammar, was killed at his home by a settler.

Many of you saw our visit to Qarayot months ago, where we met Muhammad — a kind man devoted to his family and land. On March 2, 2026, he was shot and killed while trying to protect his home. His brother Fahim was also killed and his other brother injured.

Both Muhammad and Fahim were the sole providers for their families. They leave behind 12 children (including a baby and a child with disabilities) and elderly parents in poor health. The family now faces severe financial hardship and housing insecurity.

We cannot undo this loss, but we can help. Donations will go directly to the family to cover basic needs, education, medical care, and housing support.

زرنا قرية قريوت قبل عدة أشهر، حيث التقينا بمحمد معمر — رجل طيب ومحب لعائلته وأرضه. في 2 آذار 2026، قتله المستوطنون أثناء محاولته حماية منزله، كما قتل ايضاً شقيقه فهيم واصيب اخاه الآخر .

محمد وفهيم كانوا المعيلين الوحيدين لعائلتيهما، وتركوا خلفهم 12 طفلًا (من بينهم رضيعة وطفل من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة) بالإضافة إلى والدين مسنين يعانيان من مشاكل صحية. تواجه العائلة اليوم أوضاعًا معيشية صعبة وخطر فقدان السكن.

لا يمكننا إعادة ما فقدوه، لكن يمكننا تقديم المساعدة. ستذهب التبرعات مباشرة إلى العائلة لتغطية الاحتياجات الأساسية، والتعليم، والرعاية الطبية، و السكن.
