Three Years of War

Three years after October 7, 2023, ROPES CEO Ksenia Svetlova convenes five ROPES alumni from Israel, Palestine, Egypt, and Morocco to reflect on the human toll of the war, its impact on the Middle East, and the future of regional cooperation.

The panel features Moroccan social innovation practitioner and political analyst Aimane Cherrugui; Nasreen Ibrahim Abu Gosh, Arab-Israeli television presenter and journalist; Eitan Ishai of Israel’s Mitvim Institute; Mohamed Mashharawi, a Gazan entrepreneur with Sunbox; and Ahmed Elsabagh, an Egyptian ROPES alumnus and current member of the ROPES team.

Together, they discuss shifting regional relationships, rising extremism, the challenges facing cross-border collaboration, and why dialogue and a peaceful future remain essential.
